count your blessing, paypal does not charge a fee for transfer fund into your bank account, billpoint does 1/2%.
i am afraid paypal will soon be charging.
it depends on what bank you use, some banks have to go through other banks, hence the extra days.
yahoo direct does not use the old banking network, they go through the system meant for credit cards and it is a lot faster.i guess the cc network is new and modern, the bank clearance system has been around a lot longer.
they suggested to me one time that instead of linking to your bank account, link to your bank debit card,it will go through a lot faster.
check with damon if this makes sense, think of it,your bank debit card is really a credit card with a minus sign

I think it is your bank. I get PayPal transfers into my account the very next day if I withdraw it before noon my time. If it is afternoon then I won't see it for two days.
PayPal transfers into my account faster then my merchant account that I accept Visa and Mastercard direct with, much faster as a matter of fact. It takes 3 full days after they settle a batch before it is available in my account.

Hi JACKSWEBB,
The settling time for transfers is typically 2-5 business days. The timeline to get to your bank will depend on the processing time, as well as the time you submitted it (weekends and holidays are excluded).
