Wow!

Check this guy out:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=icomics

Nearly 35,000 feedbacks and now he's NARU.

He's around 2% Neg feedback, which isn't so bad. Wonder what he did or what eBay thinks he did?

If I worked that hard to get 35K feedbacks, I'd be seriously ticked off right now.

31 negatives in the last month. Does anyone know what the limit is on negatives in 30 days before you get NARU'd?

Someone probably turned him in. I cannot imagine why eBay would NARU him and lose all those listing fees, unless he hasn't been paying his eBay account.

That will get you NARU'd in a heartbeat! They don't care how bad your feedback is so long as you make a lot of money, but don't pay THEM and that's a cardinal sin.

I don't think there is a per-month limit on Negs. The big 1 cent CD seller on eBay got 57 Negs last month. Of Course she got 10293 Positives. It's all a percentage game.

Not paying his bill would certainly do it, but he's obviously a serious seller and wouldn't make that kind of mistake.

I was assuming it was some kind of rules violation.

The most common way to get NARU status is by not paying an eBay bill or updating an expired credit card.

Let me check out feedback with eBay and get back on the number of negatives in 30 days. I wouldn't swear to reading that before, but it sounds so familiar.

I know which CD seller you're talking about. One month is was more than 75 negs and still operating, so eBay wouldn't shut someone down that makes them that much money over negs.

I have a friend whose eBay account has been suspended for non-payment to eBay. However, she has not been NARU'd, just prohibited from selling until the account is paid. This guy probably was turned in for fraud or something.

Can't find anything about neg limits in 30 days, but I remember reading something on it more than 3 years ago, so it might have been something eBay did away with.

I can see how they would want to if it ever existed; power sellers are going to get neg'd more often than people who have low volume. It's just a game of averages. No sense in cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Another thing is if this guy hit the limit of NPB or FVF against him on auctions he bid on, but from what I can see of his feedback he's a seller, not a buyer.
