Anyone have any idea how many free listing days eBay has each year & when?

they had 2 last year. one in June, I believe, and one at the end of the year.

The problem is, you get almost no warning so need to have auctions written and ready to go just in case.

You could do it that way, or you could do what I did on the last FLD: Start a bunch of dummy 7-day auctions, then change the auction particulars the day after the FLD to whatever it is you're really selling.

The dummy auctions were all for the same widget that I actually have a boxfull of, so if someone bid on them before I got a chance to alter them, it was OK.

I'm ready for a free day - just wait they will have it on June 12th, when I have to have surgery!!!

Oh well, perhaps I can craw out of my sick bed and hit the button on AuctionTrakker to send my auctions off before I fade out!

What kind of dummy ads? What did you use for titles to keep anyone from bidding or Ebay from shutting them down?

Sounds interesting as I am never ready when they throw out a FLD.

It's an auction I run periodically anyway, since I almost always have some of these widgets. I start up 8 or so using one title, revise it slightly and start 8 more, etc.

If someone actually bids before I have a chance to revise the auction, no problem, I can fill their order.
