No, for me Thursday is a great day to list for a 10 day auction. It costs 10 cents more, but I get two full weekends of exposure.

WOOOO HOOOOOO, I was planning on starting 50 auctions at $.01 each with gallary on each of them. Now it will pay to make them all 10 day auctions.

It figures! This will be Memorial Day weekend and e-Bay figures no doubt that listings will decline considerably as a result since many prospective bidders will be doing other things than sitting at their computers. A lot will probably be out of town.

All my auctions are 10 day auctions and I post every Thursday.
That way I get two weekends of exposure and a three day overlap of the auctions that were posted the previous Thursday.
Works great for me as I always have auctions running. All my auctions end on Sunday evenings.

I'm a four year veteran of eBay and never think of looking at the gallery even though I've have a cable modem for almost two years. Four years ago it was too slow with older computers and dialup connections and now at it seems that at least half of the auctions have the free thumbnail from the free Ipix photo from eBay. I judge the worth of viewing the item by a quick scan of the auction title or the free thumbnail. A quarter a pop adds up real fast.

I must respectfully disagree with the Thursday assesment. I do all of my relists on Thursdays. I have a very good sell through rate on them. I use the 7 day listings.
I have found that many wives are on ebay when their husbands are watching WWE (formerly WWF) smackdown. You could call them wrestling widows. The biggest point I am making is most days are ok to list an auction, it all depends upon when it closes and what you are selling. The only real bad days that I have found to end an auction is holidays.

I like the idea, I run 10 day auctions also, with them running through 2 weekends so this is great.
But I guess this is ebays way of saying 'no free listing day' ? by trying to appease sellers with the penny gallery day?
Sure seems like its looking that way

I bet there is a free listing day at eBay around June 20th in time for the close of the second fiscal quarter.

1) I sell reasonbly common items and Gallery doesn't help me at all. Now a true FLD, that's another story.
2) FLD in June, Yeah, probably
3) My mom watches Wrestling religiously. My Dad thinks it's stupid, but then neither of them do eBay.
4) Thursday is the BEST time to list 10 Day auctions. In My opinion...
5) I doubt auctions ending this Sunday or Monday will be great. I don't have anything ending this weekend because of the Holiday. I see no problem with LAUNCHING them on Sunday or Holiday Monday, however.

NearTheSea: I was thinking the same thing! If the penny gallery offering gets them enough listings I bet they don't offer the FLD so I am hoping people just use the gallery but don't list any more than normal.

I wasn't sure where to post this. So I put it in a couple of places hoping to get help. I am not sure what the gallery is. Is it the picture preview? When I start my auctions, under the options there is a dot in front of N/A Your item will not be in the gallery. If I opt for picture preview, the dot goes away. Can you help?
