I agree, these things happen to good people all the time. It was not AW fault that mechanics failed. Thanks.

Why are you cutting off the compensation at 7:00? Most west coast dealers have their auctions finishing between 7:00 and 8:00 and 1/2 hour was not enough time to get much in bids. I know I was way down on sales for the day and will get no compensation from Auction Watch with your plan.

Whose fault was it then?
This is a lousy compensation plan. It does NOT even cover the listing fee on eBay.

If their offer isn't enough what would be?

I would think AT LEAST a full eBay fee refund, including FVF's.
Even that wouldn't cover the losses associated with this.

How about a free listing day when ebay has their FLD?
Yes, outages happen, but it appeared there wasn't a plan in place for the occurrance. It's not like this hasn't happened before.

When eBay is down do they compensate for AW charges? I think their compensation plan was a fair one and I doubt if it even helped me, but that is the risk that is taken. Nothing is 100% fool proof. There will always be someone that doesn't approve so be it.

The compensation plan is NOT FAIR. This is what they should do.
1.) Refund my 1/30 of the cost of my monthly plan. For the almost one day they were down.
2.) Refund my $.05 per listing for all listings that ended that day, not just during the outage.
3.) Refund my 1% fee they charge for all listings that ended that day not just during the outage.
That is what would make me happy. Why should they still collect profit on the items that ended that day.

AW, I believe the plan is very fair. When you deal with the internet you need to expect some downtime, it's a given.
For some people, there could never be enough compensation. These same people complain at every turn in the road and always will, ignore them and keep up the good work.
