I've just gotten two spams in my inbox from Restaurant.com, hawking their eBay auctions. How does someone with 5-digit feedback make such a boneheaded error? Is anyone else getting it?

Maybe this is why they have a 5 digit feedback. Yes it is spam. Yes it is against ebays TOS, but what the heck. If no one complains, why not send e-mails once in a while bringing their auctions to light. I am not condoning their actions, just speculating their motives.

Spamcop is a great operation.
The thing that strikes me about this was that it was just so darn blatant! It's rare to see such unrepetant spam any more. I suspect they're about to get a love tap with a "clue-by-four."
I am too tired tonight to sort this out further, but the email address from which the spam originated has already been closed, and the website's host has gotten a raft of complaints (as, I'm sure, has eBay.)
