I was just invited by eBay to be a Silver Power Seller. I was wondering if anyone has noticed an increase in their sales as after becoming a Power Seller. What will my benefits be? Also, does an 'About Me' page give your bidders more confidence? Anyone use an eBay online store? Is this effective. Any experienced advice would be greatly appreciated. My eBay name is artdirectplus. Thank you.

I have been a Power Seller since the program began. I do not think it has made any diference in sales and the only benifit is an email address to eBay. The email address does get a fast response but most of the time the response is we have forwarded your email to the proper department and they will contact you as soon as possible.

I have found it usefull. Did it increase sales, ummmm yes and no.

There is a few great threads on the PowerSeller board right now about this. Some people think it did and some say the are ready to take it off. Oh if your a Powerseller we have our own area for Power Sellers only.

question for nharmon : Yeah and your point??? If you are selling $2000 or more a month you darned well better be running it as a business. It is a business at that point and sure not a hobby. You better be paying taxes or at least filing and showing a loss.

I became a power seller three months ago and I have had severl problems with bidders that I can explain no other way except that they think somehow they are dealing with a company not just a guy selling on ebay. I cannot prove it but never had the problems before in three years.

I'm a power seller and have been for a long, long time. Send your problem bidders my way and i'll gladly take them off your hands as they look at my power seller logo.

Their money spends the same. If they think i'm a company so be it. The same rules apply.
