This comes from the "packing/shipping" chat of eBay. This chart will keep the bidder from leaving your auction to find out the shipping cost. Sounds good to me! Check it out here:

I sat down with the USPS charts and 3-digit Zip code listing to create my own colored map of the USA to illustrate the zones that I would post a link to in my auctions. Many of the states are in two zones, so I just went with whatever zone was in the majority rather than break up a state.

Of course now I'm looking into Fedex, so it may be a moot point for me.
