I heard something on TV this morning about eBay offering healt insurance, so I emailed them about it, and got this reply:
Thank you for letting us know your question regarding health insurance
that is going to be available to registered PowerSellers. I would be
glad to address this issue for you.
While it is correct that an announcement was made regarding health
insurance that is going to be offered to PowerSellers, the program
details and plans are still in the works and are not currently
available. However, I know that these details are currently being
worked on and that this program should be available in the near future.
I would suggest that you continue to check your PowerSeller portal page
as future information about the insurance plan should be made available
on these pages.
Thank you for your interest in this exciting change and we appreciate
your patience as we work to improve the PowerSeller program for all of
it's members.
Regards,
Jason H. K.

1)Wait to get the details before you get to excited. Remember you can always buy individual health insurance, will ebays plan be any better?
2)Be careful about getting locked in to ebay. Once you get Ebay's health insurance, then have some health problems, you will be locked into ebay and have to continue selling, otherwise you health insurance will be cancelled, and with a few health problems you won't be able to get other insurance. You might be better getting your own private plan, that way you more flexibility. I know lots of people who continue working at a job they hate because they need the health insurance.

I'm already preparing my claim for the abuse to my eyes, fingers, and back, from the hundreds of hours spent in front of a computer screen that was required by eBay in order to achieve Powerseller status in order to be eligible to apply for health insurance in order to prepare my claim for the abuse...see, what goes around does come around!
