Hey all!
question for any Andale users or anyone using other programs they can recommend. I've been selling on ebay for over 4 years and am now going to branch out and create an ebay store and sell a different product in large quantities. I need a program I can use to list things FAST and make my time work for me so I can sell more a week. Right now I use nothing, just type it up in word and copy and paste but I only list about 10 items a week now. But due to the volume I will have I need something else. I'll probably list about 50 a week, maybe more.

Is Andale good and does their listing product include pictures? I ask that cause ebay charges 15 cents per each additional and I will want to have maybe 4 pix per listing.

If there's another programs that's better let me know. I want to keep costs down as well.

Thanks!
Lauren

I know there are a lot of people on this board that don't like Andale at all, but I have been using it for 2 years and love this service. I travel a lot and it is great to have a web based system so that I can do business from wherever I am. Go to the andale site and do a test drive, their product mixes are very complete. They had had some huge problems last summer rolling out a new product line, but once that was resolved, I have found them to be very dependable. I run over 250 7 day auctions at all times...approx. 1200/month...and could have never ramped up my business to this level without using Andale.

I use AuctionWatch's service. It is much cheaper then Andale and it does everything. Check them both out and see which suits you better.

Dejapooh, Nightbird specifically mentioned eBay stores. AW does not support them.

thanks for the info - let me ask you - on Andale do I have to use checkout? I don't want to as I have a very old mac and while I will be listing from a newer computer I want to do the end of auction paperwork from my old computer at my house and I can't use Andale's checkout from home. Does Sparedollar have checkout? I checked them out but they didn't have a lot of info I just see I can test them, while I can't test Andale.

Any more info would greatly help - thanks!

Lauren

SD is BEST for the PRICE!

CA is BEST all around SERVICE, but the PRICE IS TERRIBLE!

I currently have 458 auctions running and use no auction management software at all...just good old "Relist".

Relisting a closed auction and editing slightly to make it fit a different item is waaaaay faster, I find, then trying to use bulk listing tools.

Another thing: When you rely on a listing tool (or more accurately, a system like Andale) you are hosed when it breaks. That's "when", not "if".

You may also find that it does things you don't expect it to...and you may not be able to get the support you need.

I use AuctionSubmit....and it allows for up to 4 pics. Great relisting too. Never have ANY problems with it, even on FLD! BEst part: NO FEES, free software, etc
