Hi,

Please DO NOT enter information at this site. As always, please be sure you are entering at www.paypal.com only.

URGENT: PayPal System Problems

Dear PayPal User,

Last night we had some trouble with one of our computer systems. While the trouble appears to be minor, we are not taking any chances. We decided to take the troubled system offline and replace it with a new system. Unfortunately this caused us to lose some member data. Please follow the link below and log into your account to make sure your information is not affected. Account balances have not been affected.

Because of the inconvenience this causes we are giving all users that repair their missing data their next two incoming transfers for free! You will pay no fees for your next two incoming transfers*.

Thank you for using PayPal!

* - If fees would normally apply, you will not pay anything for the next two incoming transfers you receive.

Yes. Damon and Paypal are the best. LOL….

Yea like if you want to fraud someone

Like when Paypal let this buyer from Ebay

Praise : great item, everything included as listed nice doin business with u

Perform a funds reversal (not a credit card chargeback) after they got the $350 item they won on Ebay and paid with Paypal funds shipped to them.

Because the person got the item but was able to hid their confirmed address on the payment and I could not prove within 7 days that the address they gave me and where the item was shipped to and received at was the same as the hidden "confirmed address" on the account.

Way to go Paypal. Nice way to help out someone who wants to commit mail fraud.

What I don't understand is how these sites are allowed to exist. PayPal needs to nail these jerks to the wall. Make examples of anyone trying this kind of crap and maybe less people will do it.

Why should Paypal care? They still make money.

If someone logged into a Paypal account with someone else’s password and then bought something from someone, Paypal is still going to get their percent charge / service fee.

Like say I was selling a Big screen TV on EBay. If the bidder used a hacked Paypal account and then paid me with Paypal funds for the TV and then came and picked it up with a moving van, They get the TV and paypal charges me a service fee to get those funds. Then the buyer or real account holder can ask for their funds back because I could not "prove I shipped the TV with online tracking to their confirmed address."

Paypal does not care if they are frauding me. Paypal only cares that they still charge the seller his fees. Paypal will let the buyer file the fraudulent claim and then Paypal will let them get the TV without paying for it and the seller losses out on the TV plus still has to pay Paypal's service fees to be frauded thanks to Paypal's service.

I know that Paypal still may charge you a service fee if there is fraud is involved. I know for a fact they may because they did it to me.

Paypal let one of their accounts be used to attempt mail fraud against me. They removed their "account address" off the payment and then reversed the funds payment after they got the item.

Paypal charged my account the service fee plus a % of the total amount.

They charged me a service fee and the only service they did was make it ok for someone to fraud me.

Paypal did not do what I paid them to do but they still think they deserve to get paid.

Sort of like getting kicked after you are already beaten up.

Paypal let them have their funds back after I proved they frauded me (with a USPS mail fraud investigation).

And then Paypal charged my account a service fee !!!!!

They don't care. As long as Paypal gets paid, they did not care to help me. To charge a service fee after allowing the fraudulent claim to pass is throwing salt in the wound.

And their explanation for it? They said I was at "buyer's mercy" When in fact I was really at "Paypal's Mercy"

That is why people do stuff like send those e-mails to get into account. I know that Paypal did not do anything about the account who frauded me. Just shows others that you can get away with a crime and Paypal can just sit behind their ever changing terms of use / user agreement and not stop it.

Request for Paypal Damon, Hi Damon, it is just too time consuming and difficult to go through all the forms and boxes etc to send a little email to paypal about a problem or issue, so I am using this approach. What I would like to see done is a simple thing, make the email that you send one someone has paid by paypal all fit on one page. This may seem stupid, but I use the paypal notification document as the source document to process an order, ship, track payment leave feedback etc, everything on one page. The emails paypal sends often go to two pages, this wastes a lot of paper, toner or ink and time, I don't want to have to cut and paste or edit the emails to get the relevant info on one page, and there is no good reason all the needed info could not fit on one page at standard font size. A simple chagne of the layout, and removal of blank lines and make the logo smaller or better yet remove it altogether. Please pass this on to whoever is in charge of this and see if they can make the requested change.

thanks

Why even bother letting us know about these, since they are already shut down by the time you inform us?

No they are NOT shut down I just got one with a whole new twist.

PayPal is constantly working to increase security for all of our users. To ensure the integrity of our payment network, we conduct frequent checks on our system.

Your account has been restricted until you have updated your password and security questions. Restricted accounts are limited in their ability to send or withdraw funds.

After you have updated the password and security question and answer on your account, please call 888-221-1161 to have the account restriction removed from your account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

The PayPal Account Review Department

Yea Damon and Paypal. Thanks for the warning.

Dear XXX XXX,

At PayPal, we value the trust you have placed in us by using our service to conduct your transactions online. Because our relationship with you is financial in nature, the protection of your privacy is particularly important to us.

(Just got this sent to my e-mail account from Paypal)

Yea. I wish someone warned me about "Paypal" months ago before Paypal allowed my Ebay buyer to get my $350 item without paying for it after they got it.

Because you let the buyer remove their "confirmed address" off the payment they sent me and then I could not get the court order as told by your phone reps to make Paypal release the "confirmed address" within 2 days because you weak excuse for a customer service dept would not reply to any of my e-mails for the first 5 days of your 7 day "fake" investigation which was never even preformed.

(they did not even need to contact a credit card company. Paypal was more then willing to take Paypal Funds out of my account even though they confessed to getting and keeping my item)

So my buyer got to keep my item and get a Paypal reversal on Paypal funds even though they have admitted they got the item and confessed to a USPS mail fraud investigation that they used the Paypal account to order and pay for my item and then reverse funds after receiving the item.

It great to know Paypal will go so far to protect them and screw me out of my item and the funds.

And now that my account sits at a negative balance, your horrible company still send me junk e-mail to protect me and my privacy?

Many days and many dollars too late.

Yea, like I trust you people with any more information then you already have. You couldn't or wouldn't even protect me from a proven fraudulent user. Your protection is worthless.

Get it through your head. I refuse to use your service. Your company is rude and unhelpful. You allows someone to fraud me and you did NOTHING to help me even though I proved what they did.

Stop with this junk e-mail. I don't care if someone gets into my account. What are they going to do ? Fraud someone with a negative account because one of your users already frauded me and you did nothing about it.

Do me a favor and remove all my information out of your computer. I don't trust your company and I don't want any more junk mail from Paypal or anyone who you might have sold my information to.
