It's time for another Free Listing Day, but this time with a difference! Items listed using the Fixed Price feature will be free!
PLEASE NOTE: Normal fees will apply to auction and auction/buy it now listings. For more information on the Fixed Price feature, click here!
What this means...
All Fixed Price items that are listed on eBay Australia (i.e. in $AU) between 12:00:01am AEST and 11:59:59pm AEST on Tuesday 2nd July will be free to list. Reserve and Final Value fees will still be charged.

Listing in 2 Categories is free.
Auction style / Buy It Now, Featured Auctions, Bold, Category Features and Gallery are all fantastic ways of increasing your item's profile but will still be charged the regular fee.
Why not take advantage of our great tools, to make selling easier and more successful:
Hmm if they are having it on the 2nd guess we won't see one next week . .

With the competition on the main eBay site becoming greater and greater each day perhaps it would be a good idea to open accounts on eBay affliates like eBay.Australia to cash in on those bidders and increase the chances of selling either single or multiple items on eBay in general.
What the the good eBay foreign sites for selling? I've always heard that eBay-Canada is very weak for selling items for instance.
Here's a web page that has charts showing international time differences in an easy to use chart.

I believe that there SHOULD be a FLD for us. I think it would be very unfair for ebay to not give us one and I think it would be goodfor them too.... we don't paylisting fees, but we still pay commissions, reserves, 10day fees and BILLPINT fees.
what is FIXED PRICE... is that similar to the BUY IT NOW or is there a fixed price only
Once you are signed up on eBay USA, you are registered to sell on any eBay site, so you do not have to register on other country sites. I have sold on the UK, Canada, and Australian sites; with no problem.

nanntique how do you send your listings to ebay australia or any other ebay for that matter? can you use auction watch to launch from?
What You Needs To Know To list items so that buyers outside the U.S. can see them, simply use the "Ship-to Locations" section of the Sell Your Item Form.
Is that all there is to listing in international eBay sites? If a seller clicks 'worldwide' then it is listed in every eBay international site? Thanks
Yes, if you simply choose to ship worldwide, your listing will appear on every international ebay location.
However, if you are thinking of doing this in order to take advantage of other ebay sites Free Listing Days, it won't work - you actually have to launch your auction from the specified international site in order to get that bonus. That would mean getting an ebay ID on those sites - I haven't tried this myself, so I don't know if it can be done without actually having an address in those countries.

What you do is go to the international site, in this case http://www.ebay.com.au, then sign in under your regular seller ID. Then, you can proceed to "Selling" and start listing.
Some auction listing software, like Auction Tamer, supports launching to the international sites. However, for this fixed price format, I think we'll have to do them one at a time. Someone, please correct me if I am wrong.
