For those of you who use Endicia, a new "stealth" mode is available that does not show the amount of postage on the label. At least not in human-readable form. The PO machines can still read it. On the label, it says postage is paid, but does not list the amount. It gives the weight and zone, so if a buyer is curious enough, they can figure it out.
This new feature will be HEAVEN to all of us who sell on eBay (where buyers take offense if shipping charges are one cent over actual postage). I have fixed shipping prices (clearly stated in my auctions) and, fortunately, I haven't had many complaints. Still, if it saves me even ONE unpleasant discussion with a buyer over shipping vs. postage, it will be worth it.
To get this feature added to your account, just email Endicia's customer support. The url is: http://www.endicia.com. Go to "Contact Us" and the email address is there.
Also, they are beta testing the Delivery Confirmation feature for First Class mail. In the same email, ask for download instructions for the beta version, if you're interested.
Endicia is the best investment I have made in my business. If you don't have it already, and you ship a lot of packages via USPS, you should take them up on their 30-day free trial. You'll never look back.
(P.S. I'm not affiliated with Endicia, other than as a happy customer.)

Hopw long did it take for them to turn on the Stealth mode? Just out of curiousity, how did you find out about it? It is no where on the web site.

The "stealth" feature is turned on from our server. It is enabled when DAZzle makes it's first contact with our server to verify account status/etc. There is no additional software download required for stealth.
However, if you are looking for the new First Class E/DC, there is a new program to download.
If you want either (or both) features, simply contact [email protected] and include your account number.
