Hey all,

Does anyone know where I can find rules or info on the ebay site for posting auctions with a portion of the proceeds from the auction being donated to a non profit organization? I would be more then happy to send statements for the tax deductions for each auction won.

Is it possible to do auctions like that or would it be against ebay rules?

Thanks for your time.

I know there used to be a seller that stated the proceeds were going to charity. In reality, the charity was her sick daughter.

I am not sure if she still runs those or not.

Can I state which organization they will go to and the web address of the organization? I don't think ebay will allow the web address. I can send the tax deduction statements on the letterhead of the organization if that will help any.

You are not allowed to use the words "eBay" and "non profit" in the same sentence. Please rephrase your question.

Thank you.
