I recieved this email earlier, Is this a virus or a hoax?
Antigen for Exchange found Unknown infected with HTML.MimeExploit (CA(Vet))
worm.
The message is currently Purged. The message, "Re: End Privacy Policy ",
was
sent from XXXX and was discovered in IMC Queues\Inbound
located at TOSCO/Phoenix/PHXNTX22.

No , I had a email earlier and it had a attachment on it, I emailed the person and told them I do not open attachments they I got this email.

Chances are the person who allegedly sent you the original email did not send it. I have been getting emails bounced back that I didn't even send. It is a virus, but chances are it isn't on your computer, but rather someone else's.

I have run the avg virus program and it did not find anything, I also went to try and run the housecalls virus program and my computer hangs up, some kind of error.

It appears that it could indeed be a virus, I would STRONGLY suggest that you go to www.symantec.com, and downlaod a 30 day , free version of Norton, the virus program you spoke of, isn't worth a %^&*(, it let 3 virus's by, and caused a lot of trouble for me, I now use the Norton, and have had no trouble
