It's not important, but I'm wondering which way is correct:

"...there were not any signs of abuse..."

or

"...there was not any signs of abuse..."

Received a damaged item today (from a powerseller by the way) and I'm hoping to receive a replacement or a refund.

Signs is plural, so "were" is correct. (BTW, it's spelled grammar.)

There were no signs of abuse, or
there was no sign of abuse.

If your question was about grammer, why was it important to point out it was from a Powerseller? Would you have gone out of your way to say it was from a non-Powerseller? Or would you be less concerned about your grammer if the seller was not a Powerseller?
