Like I said in other threads related to Fedex, I've been using them for a year, checked their rates online for regular Ground and that's what I was always charged, not the extra residential fee. But, since USPS changed their rates for Priority, Fedex has been charging me the Residential surcharge.I'll go back to using Fedex just for very heavy packages, and Parcel Post for lighter.

qd, you were just lucky. I have been charged for home delivery ever since FedEx bought out RPS Package Delivery System (RPS).
