I guess this is the best Meg Could do.
Bold For A Buck Week will run on the U.S. site (www.ebay.com) beginning on Monday, July 22, 2002 between 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second) through 23:59:59 PT Sunday, July 28, 2002 (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).
During this Bold For A Buck Week, Bold fees for regular auction-style listings, eBay Motors non-vehicles listings, Real Estate listings and 30-day Store Inventory listings will be $1.00 on the U.S. site. For 60-, 90-, and 120-day Store Inventory listings, please see the fee schedule.
What is Bold?
Emphasize your listing by adding Bold. Bold items have shown to increase final price by an average of 39%, boost bids 39%, and are 8% more likely to sell.
What is Excluded?
eBay Motors vehicles, Sothebys.com, Live Auction, International, and Professional Services listings are excluded from the Bold for a Buck Week.
All other fees (all insertion fees, all Final Value Fees and all other optional listing fees, such as Buy It Now, Featured Plus!, Highlight, Gallery, extended duration insertion fees, etc...) will still be charged.
Listings revised to add the Bold option during Bold For A Buck week that were not first listed during Bold For

Guess Meg needs a few extra bucks. I would like to know where they got the stats, how they were put together and how old they are.
My advice save the buck and put up more auctions with it

The BOLD feature is maybe worth 50 cents, so Bold for a Buck isn't much of a bargain. This is just another attempt to get people hooked on high price features. I have never used it and I'm not about to start.
What's next? Free 10 day auctions or BIN day? How about half price featured auctions week?
