Ok I ask the good folks here for any thoughts. I have thought about supplementing my auctions with drop shipping, I know some cons, bad companies, finding the right products what I don't know is how long does the take to ship your item? Will it be in stock? do you say in the auction it will be drop shipped?
Would love to hear of shippers that you hate and if you feel like sharing the ones you like? I do NOT want to sell against a bunch of ebayers, just makes no sense to drown the market in the same products.
Or should I save my money and just buy a pallet of items, that seems scarey to me.
Yes I have sold here for 2 years small time but really want to head into full time one day a power seller, but I need more cash first.

All i would ask if that people who drop ship SHOULD state so in their auctions so i can AVOID buying from them.....seems like any problems I have had with slow delivery is drop shipping....I have one where the drop shipper sent me a damaged item now the seller claiming it was ok.

I don't drop ship, but I have bought pallets before and have not received a real bargain yet. You may want to check out this chat room http://www.buyersinfo.net.
I don't think I'm stepping on anyone's toes or giving away any good wholesalers by posting this. I'm not sure if you can view the posts without paying their yearly fee (I think it's $21.50), but you can try it. It may be worth it. What this site does is let people post about good or bad companys that they've ordered from - be careful, though because you never know if a company is just posting to bad mouth another company. If you really want to do this full-time I feel it's worth the money to check it out and not to get ripped off by someone who considers themselves a "wholesaler".

HAIR,,,,,,JUST GO TO SOME LOCAL UNPAID STORAGE UNIT AUCTIONS IN YOUR AREA. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A LIST OF THE UPCOMING AUCTIONS. SOMETIMES THESE UNITS GO CHEAP. AND SOMETIMES FIERCE BIDDING. CAREFUL! SOME LOAD UP UNITS WITH CLEAN BOXES WITH EXPENSIVE NAMES ON THEM, DON'T PAY THE RENT IT IS AUCTIONED OFF. THE TENANT GETS TO KEEP WHATEVER ABOVE THE RENT DUE. THOSE BOXES,,,,,,EMPTY. JUST GO TO SOME IN THE BEGINING AND WATCH. IF YOU GET GOOD AT IT,,,,,,,,,,$$$$$$$$$$$$$. IF YER NOT,,,,,,,,00000000000.0

I am just starting the drop ship thing and I am having some challenges!
For one, I had hoped, based on reading the product description, that I could use the AW business edition to post to EBay stores. If this is possible, I haven't figured it out yet!
The other thing is that AW doesn't seem to let you put something into your store, or up for auction without a shipping price. It is bad enough to have to guess, but then I called my distributor for weights (to at least have something to guess with) and they couldn't tell me. They said once I place an order, I can call back after 24hours and get the actual shipping price. This means the person's order will ship before I can charge them, or I have to totally guess on the cost and hope for the best! Yikes!
