The other day, AW solicited feedback from people who were not using c2it. (Then they locked the thread.)

They asked for a phone number and email address on the response.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything back from either AW or c2it. (I figure it was in preparation for a c2it campaign, but who knows?)

Yeah, I got one today too.

Funny - all the questions about what I liked and didn't like about their and other services.

No place to say I didn't use any of them, and why. So I guess mine won't count for much.

About the only thing I can say on the subject is "Why?"

Isn't Paypal and Billpoint enough? What does C2it Offer that's uniquely different enough for both buyers and sellers to sign up?

I realize they are backed by Citibank, but so what? I don't think Paypal or eBay are either one going to fold up tomorrow, although after the buyout, it's anyones guess

I've NEVER had a buyer ask if I accepted C2It.

Since ebay recently bought PayPal, I think we need another good online payment option. I wouldn't feel comfortable if ebay controlled 98% of the online payment market. I'd like c2it to become successful. I like the idea of dealing with a 'real' bank (as opposed to PayPal). But c2it made it so difficult for people to register that they shot themselves in the foot.

C2it is not even compatible with my browser. If they're concerned with what people think about their service, wouldn't the first step is to make it compatible with the masses and not restrict millions of people from using it? If they're not bright enough to figure that out on their own, I can't see them being a worthy alternative.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
