Hello. Does anyone know about (or currently practice) putting their website name on their ebay images in order to protect them from image thieves? Picture thieves have become a problem for me lately, and I'm considering putting my "blankety-blank.com" name on all my ebay pictures. I realize ebay doesn't allow links to external websites, but does anyone know if putting my website's name on the photos is allowed?
Thanks for any tips!
Jack

I think that would be pushing the "no outside link" policy, but since safeharbor is no longer pulling auctions on a regular basis......

No pushing it, that practice is specifically prohibited. It's considered a static link. Don't do it. Never listen to suggestions that you violate eBay policy. That is bum advice.

I had to remove the .com from all my images because of the static link policy. If one of your competitors drops a dime on you ebay will warn you or suspend you. Good luck

Everybody, thank you for the advice. Being that ebay prohibits my idea, I'll just put a (C) "my ebay name" on the photos, and see how that does.
