Hi
I am looking at starting a AW shop because I can link back from eBay auctions.

If anyone out there does this --what do you put on your eBay auctions. What does the link look like?? Just a clickable URL or a small box or clickable words? What is allowed on eBay?? And is anyone having luck with people clicking through to your AW shop? It is a lot of work and I am fence sitting right now!

I will mainly have jewellery and books - if that helps anyone.
Thanks!
Cathy

You can't put a written link in your ebay auctions directing you to your AW store but, if the first picture you have in your auction can be enlarged, you ask the seller to enlarge your picture and it will take you to your store front. You can also use your store front template as your eBay auction page but that won't take you to your storefront it will just show the buyer that you have a storefront. In the lower left side of your auction page it says AW gallary and I think if you click that it will also take you store front. I hope this helps..

Thanks for the reply!
I am confused because the AW Help Q&A says:

"How do I include my Store address in my auction listings?
All open Storesare automatically promoted within each auction listing created using any AuctionWatch listing tool - Sales Manager, Online Inventory, or Sales Manager Pro.
When you're creating your auction listing, simply refer to your Store web address in the item description. For example, text such as "To see all of my other auctions, go to wwww.auctionwatch.yourStorename.com". "

This is where I a confused- AW says we CAN link back by putting a URL in. I think that is what it says anyway.

I see other eBay auctions with store links. I thought it was because they were using managers that bought into API like AW.

there is a box at the bottom of the listing that says "auction watch gallery" or sponsered by (sp) they click that and it takes them to your store. Also AW is trying to get customers so also there is another link for free trial... AW puts these in must be legal??? My smallest store had 220 hits this month, I am not running much at all this month/

Hope this helps
