I sell in a highly competitive category where people use cheaper parts to make the same item, yet list the part actually being better than what the manufacturer specs are. Is it legal to say compare my product to this person's product, and provide a link to their product's product isnt what she really claims it to be? I don't want to piss ebay off, but I am a highly ethical person and I cannot stand to see people getting lied to.
So is it legal to point out the product being lied about, list their product spec in my description or provide a screenshot of a website that has the item for sale its specs and it's price? Thanks and I am being vague about the product on purpose.

Maybe something like this:
"Don't be fooled by cheaper parts that claim to be of higher quality. Check my feedback for satisfied customers."
It's just like ink jet cartridges. Cheaper ones are not always "just as good." Refills have never worked for me. I look at the feedback to see how satisfied the buyers were with the product before trying it.
