I am finding that first class from FL to CA will take between 7-10 days. If you had delivery confirmation on the package, you could check that. Give it a couple more days.

GREAT THREAD NAME FOR THIS QUESTION. 3 MONTHS AGO. PAID IN FULL. $150.00. PAY PAL. NEVER PICKED IT UP. NEVER HEARD FROM SINCE. BUYER HAS GIVEN AND RECEIVED FEED BACKS INTO JULY. JUST NOTICED IT. HOW LONG DO I KEEP THIS IN FREE STORAGE? MY REAL THOUGHTS ARE I NEVER BOTHER A SLEEPING DOG.

WOULD YOU,,,,,,,FORGET PAYING $150.00 AND FORGET ABOUT IT,,,,,I DOUBT IT. I FIGURE A FEW MORE MONTHS AND THEN JUST THROW IT IN THE TRASH AND FORGET ABOUT IT.

Jack,
Just to clarify, which are you going to throw in the trash, the widget he bought or the $150.00?

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

WITH THAT ONCOMING TRAIN YOU HAVE ONLY SECONDS TO FIGURE IT OUT.

The post office won't allow you to file a claim until 30 days. Even if you do not have insurance, I would hold to the same policy. Sometime it takes an unbelievably long time for mail. I had one envelope arrive safely after about 14 days. The envelope was coming to me so I could see the postmark and I knew what day it arrived.

I rec'd an evelope that took several weeks to arrive. The post mark showed it had been mailed when promised. You should have seen the condition of the envelope. It had been wet, muddy, wrinkled, and looked like it was run over! I was lucky to be able to cash the money order inside. Unbelievable!

Hi JACK,

A poster in another thread said he donates the ITEMS (knew you'd like that word) to charity in the buyer's name. That, of course, is after reasonable attempts have been made to finish the deal.

Beware: On (another) thread, a seller was drug into court for a similar problem. The buyer paid for an auction but never picked it up. I think it was 3 months? The judgment went against the seller. The funny part is, the buyer STILL has not picked up the thingy (like that better than item?). How long should he store it?????

Do you have an attorney who can get rid of this pesky problem? One of those legal clinics that are cheap? Sometimes all it takes is a piece of stationary with "attorney at law" at the top to move the immovable.

Be strong, be patient. Or just be yourself.
(tee hee).

Hey JACK (better?),
I sold all but 2 ITEMS. Now too tired and lazy to post more. Trying to work up the energy. Since I am money-driven, shouldn't take too long to motivate myself.

You sound funny, Been talkin' to your mannequins again?

Ha.

Back to the original post. (SORRY JACK) As some one noted in a previous post concerning the envelope that had been trashed: It very likely may have been run over. I was toolin' (there's a word you don't hear much any more)down the interstate a couple of months back and came upon an accident in the opposite direction that involved an 18 wheeler USPS truck!

Packages all over the road! I was selfishly glad it was on the other side. Anyway, I could just imagine the ebay transactions that went south with this misshap. I'm sure it happens from time to time and this is something we don't even take into consideration.
