So there's this lady (I think) who bought a 1 cent item from us. Total transaction amount: $4.01. She sent a money order without the auction number or her userid. OK, fine, I'll put it aside. I notice that on her payment she has written out her first name twice, but it's spelled differently the second time. This is kind of strange. Most people don't make errors spelling their own names.

So she finally emails me about her missing item and the email has a third and FOURTH spelling of her first name! What's worse, she's using a different last name than the one on the payment.

Now that I know what to send, I ship her item. It is promptly returned to me for a bad address.

So, class, let's review.

We have a customer who can't decide how her first name is spelled: either Crystal, Kristal, Krystal or Khrystelle. She can't decide which last name to use. And she can't decide what her mailing address is.

And, naturally, she is berating me in email daily for "cheating" her.

The only people I know who behave like this in real-life are pre (or post) op transsexuals. Blimey. I may be onto something there.

Oh, and did I mention that all her email concludes with a large red pair of lips, a la
Rocky Horror Picture Show?

I received a MO from someone who did not give me an item number, address or even a CLUE as to the item. It was during the Christmas season and I had sold loads of stuff at about the same price. So I searched and searched through my auctions, my emails and the like, but NOTHING had the woman's name on it.

I still have the MO, but I think the MO company is keeping the money. Funny thing is that I never heard from her! Do you think that a return address was too much to put on the envelope?

I would give that lady the benefit of a doubt until she spells her name nine different times...that's what I do and it seems to work at the psychiatric hospital that I'm always selling Rob Zombie cd's to.

We've had several nuts this week.

I just received a scathing email from a customer who is demanding to know the whereabouts of their winning auction purchase. It's been a full 5 DAYS since the auction closed! I sent a kind email informing this person that their order was processed the next business day and sent via Priority mail and will reach them shortly and recommended that they pay for UPS sonic delivery if they insisted on receiving instant gratification for their purchases.

Another eBay bidder chose to wear the sunglasses they purchased from us for 2 months before returning them to us for refund. They stated that even after 2 months, the sunglasses just don't fit right.

A third bidder informed us that they will be returning the sunglasses they purchased from us without the lenses, as they already owned these exact sunglasses, but just needed to replace scratched lenses. Customer wants partial credit and wants us to pick up the shipping, since they paid the shipping cost to send the return back to us.

Where do these people come from?

I received a paypal payment for an item that sold, was paid for, shipped and feedback traded over 3 weeks ago? Is she lost or am I?
