First let me say that I so "lurk" here as I have learned more than I can contribute. I have been having auctions close and notified after the fact for sometime now. The only explaination is a "canned" message about "endangered species" and possibly my items may fall under that catagory. Example, many folks were selling Baleen and here and guess who gets bumped first? So when I ask when did the rules changed, they finally write back that the baleen needs to be scrimmed, and so I have scrimmed baleen put out, and ivory items as well, as ivory has been selling for a long time, the pieces are signed and all of mine got taken off and everyone even the one that is "not scrimmed" is still on there. I am being told by other sellers up here that ebay has it in for me, which sounds paranoid to me, yet it has them worried about putting out similier items. I cannot get a decent response, and work under the guidelines of the Dept., of Fish and Game and feel just heartsick as this is my only income after an Hit and Run accident, what can I do? I doesn't matter what I put out or How Legal it is, they will pull it. Please anyone, Help. Thank you.

ebay is in the business of making money. They don't have it in for anyone. Ebay reacts to consumer complaints and rarely ever searches for people doing things against policy themselves. If there is someone who has it in for you, it is someone who has been to your ads. (possibly a competitor or a concerned activist type)
I would suggest reading the ebay rules regarding your product. If your stuff falls within the guidelines, then list that in your auction. Tell ebay that in your auction listing that these items are within the rules, and why.
My only other suggestion would be to sell a different product...
