I just recieved a notice email from ebay that reads
Dear Ebay User: We have recentaly experienced an error in our servers. It is nessasary that you visit our update website and update your account information A.S.A.P. Failure to update your account could lead to account termination. Click Here To fix this problem. Thank You and Sorry For The Inconvenience, Paul Rite Ebay Account Team Manager

Sounds like a HOAX!!! Never click a reply to them or paypal or anyone experts here can tell you how they get your information to steal and hack! I just know you don't reply.

Unless you can't copy correctly, the spelling is a dead giveaway that it is a hoax. Probably from Asia. Definitely not an English, American fluent writer. Hope tou didn't answer.

When you receive any communication from ebay, the "e" is not capitalized, the "b" is. It's spelled eBay, not Ebay. Don't bother to answer. If he can't spell the name of the company he supposedly works for, he won't be there tomorrow. The email you received is a scam. If they lost your information, how do they know you are an eBay user? Forward the email to eBay, with all the headers. They will be happy to respond for you
