Last night we put up several auctions. Four of them posted twice. We have deleted one of these, the others we can back with merchandise. Why did this happen?

Usually we set things for a certain time and leave them in pending. These because of the hour we used launch now. And all of them double listed. For information, here are the auction numbers:
898472039
2044678969
2044679161
2044679310

Have others had this problem? And how do you handle it? We tried on the last of the lot, which we discovered had multiplied in pending, to either cancel or delete and could not get either one to work.

And is there a way to get a refund on eBay fees for the doubles? If we close we still owe the listing fee. Can this be refunded, where and how?

This is something that hasn't happened in quite a while at AW. But is very frustrating.

Thanks for any help you can give, Dale and Joan

You know I never know when to double click or single click. If AW uses the one click rule then maybe you double clicked and got two auctions. I have noticed lately that once you do a single click it takes quite awhile for the information to go, so maybe you didn't see anything happening and you clicked again. I often do that on this message board, as you probably noticed. If you cancell your auctions does eBay charge you for the auction that was cancelled. I know AW charges for the pictures as they had said that but I thought eBay doesn't charge when you close the auction. Maybe someone smarter than me {I} can tell us that.

It happened to me twice. I did not use AW, I used other company auction lister.
When I saw double on my listings I ended the other one right away and then sent email to Ebay through:
http://www.ebay.com/help/basics/select-support.html

select credit/refunds
select I made a mistake on my listing and ended it. Can I get credit for the fees

They refunded my fees back.

Good luck,

If you have your auctions scheduled for a pending listing automatically I think the only way you can cancel them is to go to re-schedule at the bottom of the listing then go back to the pending listings and delete it or change the text. As to a refund I don't know. I always check my pending listings when I finish for double listings and check the time to be listed, several times I had AM instead of PM, SO double check.

anandasmom, Apparently, the rules have changed!
"I made a mistake on my listing and ended it. Can I get a credit for the fees?"

"Even if you make a mistake on a listing and end it, insertion fees and fees for listing option such as Featured, Category Featured, Bold or Reserve Price are non-refundable.

Instead of ending a listing, please consider revising it. You can revise just about anything on your item page. For more information on revising your auction, please go to the following URL:

http://cgi5.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?UserItemVerification "
So be it..r u surprised??
