Please be reassured that we have earned the 27,000 plus positive feedback's accumulated on ebay during the past 3 years. We are one of the few companies selling on ebay offering a 30 day inspection period allowing you to return the goods for any reason. We have been plagued and harassed for nearly one year by an individual named Darryl Sheaffer .It seems he tries to make a living by attempting to extort money by various means from legitimate companies.
He collects disability and renters assistance although he seems not to have any obvious physical disability. He appears to be in his late forties with no family. From the emails that he has forwarded to us showing he subscribes to many Sexual News Groups including homosexual sites. He seems to take pleasure in sending pictures of men performing acts on other men to our staff and family members.
He does not work. He harasses eBay Sellers and anyone else he comes in contact with. He comes up with an excuse to scam and/or sue these eBay Sellers. Because Darryl is "Poor" he is allowed to file these law suits for free. Most are thrown out of court but if anyone fails to show up in court, he wins by default.
He has tried to sue the Boy Scouts, Enterprise Rent a Car, his Land lord, the local Bank, the Post Office, his local liquor store, his local computer repair shop and many others. Many have counter sued and won. However, he is virtually judgement proof (because he has no assets) and is considered a "waste of time". He makes a living out of filing many frivolous law suits.
He has been kicked off eBay, as many as, 50 times but continues to sneak back on. eBay has banned him for life. They have filed an injunction to keep him off their site. He has been kicked him off many times for many different violations. Once for bidding on his own auctions and leaving himself positive feedback.
He has bid on more then $400,00.00 of our auctions with no intent nor the ability to pay. He usually leaves us negative feedback just minutes after the auction closes. Sometimes he leaves a few sleepers (auctions won and not paid) out there and then pops out the negative feedback whenever he feels like causing more trouble. Surprise - I'm back!
He has often contacted active bidders and tries to get then to retract their bids.
He likes to agitate people that may have had a small problem by sending them copies of other negative feedback's, which he cultivated, thus causing an exaggeration of the problem.
He sends very vulgar and obscene emails with sexual comments about my wife and three (3) children. He continues to send emails with pictures of indecent and immoral sexual acts to our staff and family members.
He has harassed many others in the same way and has been order by the court to stop in the past.
He has tried to sue us twice and both cases were dismissed. He filed a suit against eBay for "Lost of Profits as a e-seller" because they kicked him off and refuse to let him sell. He also tried to sue his local computer repair shop and Compaq Computers for the same reason.
We are not the only eBay seller he has harassed. He has been described by other ebay sellers as "Dangerous" and "Sick" It seems he is the biggest failure on ebay. Therefore, he tries to ruin businesses which have ""high profiles" and are "successful" sellers.
There have been criminal charges filed against him with more forthcoming. There is an active arrest warrant issued for him in Elmore County Alabama.

It has been reported that Darryl is the worst plague eBay has ever had. This is the first case that eBay ever filed an injunction in order to keep someone off their site. I would think that if Ebay has an injunction against this person that surely they would remove the negatives by this same person and you can have your feedback file open for all to see.
If you are #10 and if all you say is true, then why is Ebay not cooperating with you to get your feedback back in the open?

This reminds me of the case of the infamous "networker" who terrorized eBay members and AW posters. He was sued by eBay 7/7/2000 for Violation of the Consumer Fraud and Abuse Act and five other counts of Fraud, Trespass and Conversion

Crafts51, like the other poster said, if ebay has 'suspended this guy for life' than they should absolutely REMOVE those negatives, especially, if as you say, he left negs as soon as the auction closed!
Damn with so many names and so many ID's how could we possibly NOW know what name he goes by now?
I was under the impression, that if you registered with a free email (hotmail etc) that a buyer did have to provide a credit card, though I could be wrong. How does he keep getting on ebay? I don't know how registration works anymore, its been more than 6 years since I have registered.

Hard to believe nobody has killed him. With this sort of person where would they start to look? There are so many that would wish him evil it would be hard to pick one with more motive or means.
