I was wondering if anyone has come up with a good system for automating the imaging of postcards for sale online? For example has anyone figured out how to use a document feeder or similar gizmo to load in a big stack of postcards and have them scanned? Or perhaps some way of automated imaging using a camera? I have 100's perhaps 1,000's of postcards that I would like to sell online either on ebay or in a webstore but it just seems to take too much time to do this by hand, if there was some way to automate the process it sure would help! Or by some miracle is there a magic box system, I am thinking about something that would take the images, scan the card text and convert to ASCII characters using optical character recognition software, write the scanned text into a listing and then upload the image and listing to ebay or a web store?
