Evidently eBay stores are not doing very well and eBay is not making the money that they would like. So they are asking their store owners to help them make more money by offering a free listing day. I never go to a eBay store. If it is not on the auction site I won't buy it...

I got this notice and at first thought "Cool! 120 days of free listings." But then I remembered the $9.95 store basic fee and figured it STILL might not be worth it. 120 Days of eBay store will still cost 4x$9.95=$39.80

I had an eBay store for 6-8 months and never sold a single doggone item. The listing service I use supports eBay stores, so it would be easy for me to plop down 300 or so items.

It's probably just a ploy to lock people in to four months of the store service. As long as you've got the store open, y0u may as well list more items in it at full price next month... Pretty smart move on eBay's part.

I'm just trying to decide if it's worth it to try again.

Replaymedia-If you didn't sell a single item just run, don't walk, away from that situation.

I don't know if free store listings = screw sellers, sounds like a good deal to me.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
