Are you allowed to put a link to your Yahoo Auctions in Ebay (Like an Icon saying See my other auctions and jsut show your Yahoo Auctions)

And Vice versa. Can you put a link to your Ebay Auctions in a Yahoo Auction

Nope, you can't link Yahoo to ebay. Now if you want to link Ebay to your Yahoo the chances of you getting caught are as good as the chances of you selling something on Yahoo.

As a seller on Yahoo with a rating of 1600 I can say that Yahoo SUCKS.

Ebay has apparently shifted it's priorities and no longer aggressively pursues illegal linkers. There may be a token violator warned every so often but it is getting rarer and rarer.

Justmypissingid,
If you didn't sell crap, like one cent auctions you would still be at Yahoo. That is why you became a bidville reject.
My sales at Yahoo are doing quite well. Better than ever since listing fees were instated.

As far as the post goes, technically, it is against both sites rules to provide links to the other. However, linking to Yahoo from Ebay is more likely to pass without trouble than the other way around. Unless you make someone mad at ebay, it will. They only take action if someone whines about your listings.

Of course you can place a link to Yahoo in your Ebay auction. But you can only do it on you last day as an Ebay seller.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Direct from the "eBay Big Book of Unforgivable Sins":

1. Thou shalt have no other auctions except me, and if thou do anyway, then

2. Thou shalt not have a link in your eBay auction to such an abomination.

I really think that ebay gave up on trying to enforce this policy.

A search of the word yahoo yields 132 title search results and 158,924 title and description results.

The manpower required to enforce this linking rule must have gotten to a point where the rule was unenforcable without too large of a cost.

It's illegal, and the police will show up at your door with a warrant.
