I like to look at the Ebay Big ticket page http://pages.ebay.com/buy/bigticket/index.html just to see what sells for big $$ and this was on the page today. By the seller's feedback and the bidder's feedback it must be a scam, right?
Some of these big ticket items are unbelievable! If you saw the $6,000+ Lisa Apple computer at a yard sale you'd walk right by it and never even think about offering good money for it, if you didn't know it was worth something.
is an example of how much vintage comuters could go for. If I saw it at a garage sale or swap meet I'd definitely buy it unless the seller wanted thousands of dollars. The number of uninformed people about the value of items such as the Lisa computer dwindles every day with the mainstreaming of ebay and shows such as Antiques Road Show.

Unfortunately, it - in no way - compares to the spring auction for "an almost perfectly square piece of cardboard."
