I have most of my auctions for US only but have someone from Singapore that wants to bid on a 65.00 item. I told them okay if they paid in well-concealed cash or US postal money order. I have another email wanting to know if they can pay by paypal...I know it will not be a confirmed so was wondering if Singapore was one of the no-no countries. I get a lot of good information off this board so what would ya'll do.

singapore was one time under martial law, same was taiwan, remember during clinton years, there was an american teenager who was in singapore and sprayed the cars with paint and he was whipped??clinton intervened and they said no deal!!
anyway,if it were a real singapore bidder,it is okay, there are indonesians who claim they are in singapore and use stolen cc data ,they do this all the time on yahoo shopping.
ask him for his address and see if there is an ID code ,this is the code for indonesia.
if you want ,post the name and address and we will take a look, indonesians have malay muslim names, singapore have some malays but mostly chinese and indians.

I have successfully completed many transactions with customers in Singapore. They have all been wonderful. BidPay is a GREAAAAAT idea!!!

I too have now had my first customer from Singapore and he was just fine. He paid with PayPal. I would prefer BidPay, but this was fine with me. Otherwise, I ask for an interntaional money order or cash.

Thank you for all the replies. One more thing..this bidder has 7 feedbacks..all positive. They range from June 2002 until now so guess if they were a problem it would be reflected by now. Think I will tell them I prefer Bidpay but will accept paypal. Thanks again for all the help!!
