I've been selling on eBay for about 2 years. I've had only one problem with a non-responsive bidder. But now I have a bidder with a dead email address. I have no way of contacting him/her and he/she has made no effort to contact me after winning an auction. I'm 7 days out beyond the auction and can, of course, wait to file a non-paying bidder report. Does eBay use the postal address on file with the credit card to contact a bidder whose email bounces?
Any other suggestions besides NPB and negative buyer feedback?

The bidder's name & phone number can be gotten by going to Ebay's site map & clicking on get refund of final value fee.

Since it has been 7 days since the close of the auction, start the NPB process. Then if no response after the FVF process, give a neg. In most cases where the e-mail address is bad, the legite buyers will contact you within 48 hours. At least that has been my experience.
Good luck

It has just happened to me. I had an auction close last night, have tried 4 times to contact the high bidder. Each time it comes back "action failed"
