Hi all - I'm looking for some feedback on the AuctionWatch listing manager. I am planning on listing (and hopefully selling) a bunch of stuff on eBay this holiday season so I started a free trial a few days ago. But, honestly, I'm finding it a bit awkward. The main thing that bothers me is the post sale section. Maybe after I have done it a few more times I will get the hang of it but for now I'm spending more time managing the auctions than I ever did before. Is it just me or what?

I am just a small time seller 20-25 sales per week, all start and end on Sunday night...have been using AW for about 18 months now

The AW system is very user friendly for my needs and once I edited the post sale emails to suit my taste, everything runs pretty smooth...

I do all post sale items in groups...look for responses...send shipment notices, etc...start at one and just hit next button to get where I need to be...moves much quicker that way....

Hope this helps and good luck to you.

Hi: I sell about the way rrariffle does. I've used AW auction manager services for about 2 years now and would not be without it. But - I do not use any post-sale features. I just do my own thing and keep my own records. Maybe someday I will, but I haven't been in the mood to learn any new stuff!

I do about 100-200 a week. It really helps me keep organized. I suppose it's like any other new program, you just need to get used to it.

I have been using this since day one and LOVE IT ! It has made my ebay selling so much easier. You just need to stay with it, edit all default responses.

I like that my end of auction notice goes out all by itself .... I can easily print an invoice ....I can easily one click notice to buyer that payment was received ....etc !
Also, quick glance to see if I shipped an item or received payment, etc

Believe me .. it is not at all hard to use, you will get the hang of it in no time. I am by no means a computer whiz and before Auction Watch came out with this, I paid for & tried other programs that I quickly said .. forget about it !!

And the beauty part is if you have problems or questions with it ~ you can get a quick answer right here from the many users or AW staff

NOT gina50 on ebay

I think I'm beginning to get the hang of it. I particularly like the ability to combine auctions. I'm selling a bunch of low dollar items right now and if I wasn't able to combine it would be a nightmare to do manually. Just when I get frustrated about not being able to do something, I find out how to do it. So, I'm getting there. Thanks for the feedback!

I am considering returning to AW. The only thing I like about the service I now use is the post sale management features. It is easy and efficient. Also, it allows me to track by inventory number and to add shipping costs when I make the ad.

My questions to some of you AW users: (I didn't use the post sale stuff when I used to use AW as I only listed 20 or so a week. Now I list 200+)

1. Is there a way to enter an inventory number when I list the item that will follow through and show up on the invoice? I sell many similar but different items and it is imperative that I know which one is won by who when I get ready to ship. It takes two to three listings to sell most items so I cannot keep track of it by the Ebay number. My items are stacked in my storage unit by my inventory number for quick pulling when it comes time to ship.

2. Can you add the shipping into the initial ad process and have it add it into the final cost for sending out EOA notices?

I appreciate any input you might offer.

Thanks,
Linda
