Need info for a Williams Jolly Joker Pinball Machine (1955), in particular where I could find a value.

The machine is in fair to good condition, but missing the legs.

Thanks for any help.

I wasn't able to find yours in my books, but most of mine are outdated anyway.

If anyone has "Schroeder's Antiques" Price Guide the pin ball machines are listed under
heading Coin-Operated Machines. Mine is 1999,
maybe a later one will have it. All the machines listed in mine are from the 1930's
listing at $400 to 1,600.

Kovel's, (33rd Ed, 2001 P. 166) doesn't list the "Jolly Joker", but does list a pinball by Williams, "Lucky Ace", No. 448, 1960s for $900.00. The others listed range from $750 to $1800.

The Williams Jolly Joker Pinball Machine isn't listed in Schroeder's Antique Guide.

The following is stated though.

Coin-operated machines may be the fastest gtrowing area of collector interest in todays's market. Many machines are bought, restored, and used for home entertainment. Older examples from the turn of the century and those with exceptionally elaborate and innovative features are most desirable.

The ones listed under Arcade machines and Pinball machines run from $350.00 to $7,000.00 in value.

You may be able to find out some info from this site but I don't see any values.

This site sells machines and mention that they are also looking to buy them as they refurbish them.

I forgot I still had the link above on my computer. I have a friend
who used to sell larger items and I had sent this link to him. It
has a section on "CONCESSIONAIRES, GAMING and ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES."

One in that section is from the UK, but it has a pinball & games board for selling.:

Maybe the same aol list will bring up some boards for the U.S.

Somewhere on the site I had copied this. Maybe Marvin will help for
first crack at it. Might be worth a shot.

Museum (U.S.A.)

Vintage arcade machines, carousels, kiddie rides, robots, model airplanes
and many coin-operated devices are among 5,500 square feet of space at this
unusual museum in Michigan. All games are operational and available for
visitor play.

Why do you need a book value?
The guy who wrote the book doesn't want to buy it.

Did you write the book? If not then how do you know?

Considering I have no idea of values of these things, I need a starting point.

I guess I could offer it for a penny with $700 S&H

edited to fix ubb

And you will also get uninformed opinions - Vinnie.

Why not?
