I have received this message twice in the last couple of days. Looks like someone is trying to get a response, but for what?

Hi Amber..it sounds like it is another seller that has a customer that has won an auction from them, that has also won an auction from you. They are emailing you to see if you have heard from this customer, as they have not....

that id doesn't come up with any sales current or recent however that id does come up with 4 recent wins....could this be one of the other sellers?

I have had a couple of those. It is probably a seller trying to find out if your buyer and one of the same buyers she had has contacted you as she is getting no response. Lots of times they forget they bid and go away for a week. I guess it can happen and sometimes people bid on auctions and then they don't want them and just forget about it altogether. Just write her and ask her what she means by her question as I don't think there is any harm in that.

Thanks for your replies. I was a bit wary because it also came up on our other email address which we don't have registered on eBay or any other auction site, it makes me wonder how she got that one.

They also had different subject lines. Sounds a bit fishy to me, wonder why I'm the only one who has received them. There is also no mention of who this "her" is, so I have no idea who she is talking about. Obviously not a genuine request I think.
