Hello!
I'm delighted to have won your auction(s) and I apologize if I'm a little
late in getting back to you. Hardware problems have been interfering with my
access to internet/email this week.

Billpoint invoices are always VERY appreciated. However, I will gladly use
whatever payment method you prefer. I expect to make most payments this

IF you notice: there is nothing after "TO" which makes me think this is spam. or worse yet, a harvester. when I pulled up the email address in ebay, there is no such user. the item number isnt even valid.
Believe me, I have never listed anything with porcupine quills in my life!
Any thoughts on this before I go crazy!

It just hit me as really strange and a little scarey. I was hoping that if someone had the same experience, they might let me know. FYI - item number is now in the list above. Thanks so much

Delete the message, block the email sender, and forget about it. Whatever you do, don't respond. You didn't sell or buy the item, and to top it off, the item is no longer in eBay's system. Delete, block, and forget about it.

On the same topic of probable clever spam, I'm getting more and more spam with titles like "Registration Complete" or "Shipping Information" or "Shipping Status" or "Order Confirmation", etc.
More spamsters are finding key words or phrases that almost force the reader to open them or possibly miss an important email. I miss the old days when all spam was very obvious.

Send them a WBN but don't include any info on paypal or billpoint. Tell them you only take certified checks. And tell them to make sure they pay for the insurance costs as well.
I know it won't go any where, but might make you feel better.
