Ok, is it me or is this the most annoying thing on earth??? I decided to try it, well, their system sucks because I have to rummage through the email to find the buyers address to respond to. So, I decide to turn it off, and nothing... I still am getting Checkout emails. Any clue how long it takes ebay's system to take effect for this? I did it yesterday afternoon and last night and early this morning I kept getting them. I had several auctions close this afternoon, and it doesn't appear there were any, but who knows.... Please advise.

I use it all the time with no problems what so ever.
It just takes a little tweeking to get what you want it to do.
Fine system if you know what you want and how to properly express yourself.

rusty,
You can't shut it off. Ebay says that you can, but since they started that XXXX checkout, we have been stuck. I get that same e-mail after most of my auctions as well. The only thing that you are able to turn off is that billpoint, ebay payments thing.

I seem to remember a place at Paypal under some sort of preference where you can shut it off remotely if you have paypal.

It wouldn't be so bad if you could click on reply & have the bidders email address come up like you can with a PayPal notice.
I might even use it if eBay would do that.
I would love to get rid of checkout, tried, but it's still there.
I send my own EOA's & delete the checkout emails.
