Is there any place on the net where I can upload my images for ebay listings without incurring a charge? I used Geocities at one time, but they changed their policy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am on AOL. They are "free" it's included with your monthly membership. I've been using them almost 4 years now, no problems.

Your images must be worth what you are willing to pay to have them hosted.

There is no free lunch anymore. It seems like when you sign up for a service it is free for a while then all of a sudden they want payment for their services and then you are scrambling for another place. I find AW very reasonable for the amount I do. Maybe for the volume sellers it is to much. But, I am staying here as I like all their services.

Check with your ISP. Most provide you some web space.

The only problem with AOL hosted images is that that sometimes take a while to load up. I have skipped viewing many an AOL auction because the images took too long to load. Lately it seems better though.

That's one of the many things I love about using Auction Watch for my images ....I have AM Pro default set to load smaller images that the ebayer can click on to enlarge if they want to view it better ... that way your auction page loads real quick
I think AW is GREAT and that you get a lot for the money ~ like they say "you get what you pay for"

NOT gina50 on ebay

I use epier. It loads fast and never has down time. Plus the bonus af being able to list auctions for free as well makes a few extra sales a year for me.

Does AW have a limit to the number of images you can load per auction? Lately on very collectible items I've been trying to include 2 to 4 extra photos via HTML from my image hosting site plus the free ebay one. It seems to increase the bids with more photos.

I use Auction Watch becuase the photo's are free if you use their listing service, which is only .10. I use lots of photo's with my stuff. Sometimes I put a dozen or more. I have over 3000 images now stored with them (over 300MB worth). This would cost a fortune with anyone else.

tooltimes, check your Auction Watch (AW) account. I believe auctionwatch charges a fee if you don't list through them. I asked the question about image hosting because I'm thinking about opening an ebay store for the holidays.

I do use AW for my listings, but since they don't promote ebay stores, I'm interested in finding an inexpensive image host.

Thanks for all the great relies.
