Like most city's/towns there is a fairly large circle of ebayer's in my town. It is really getting bad here. Everybody HATES everybody else. I mean HATE. There is clicks and there is the solo fighter like myself. Is it like that where you are?? It is very uncomfortable ignoring people but I am forced into it because of petty things like beating someone to a $100 item that has a price tag of $1 on it.

Wow! We don't find those kind of deals in our town. Everyone here is eBay oriented.
Well I am sure that it is like that in everytown. I have been pushed, hit and trampled over to get that one item that I am not interested in. I have quite going to estate sales early in the morning, once those sellers clean off the top there is more underneath and sometimes worth a lot more. Besides the estate people that have skimmed off the top before anyone gets there. Don't give up. I only go to thrift shops now and find enough very good items that everyone passes up. I refuse to fight the crowds.

Libra, I am sure glad I don't live in your city. We hav 3 main estate sellers & none of them skim off the top. The things I am interested in are the high end things & don't go out the door early. Many times I go late on Sat afternoon & make an offer. Sometimes I get thigs at less than 50% off because they all know me & want me back to the next one. I only deal in fine china & high end collectibles. I don't try to know everything about everything.
