I heard they were going to lower it to $1,000.00 a month. It was $2,000.00 a month for 3 months and less than 2% negative feedback to become a PowerSeller.

Is it worth it to become a Powerseller? It seems like if you become one you are committed to do that amount every month, but then I guess that is a plus so you keep it up. Let's hear from the powersellers. Tell everyone how you like being one and is it worth it?

I am a powerseller (duckfood) and it is definitely worth it to become one. The customer service/support is incredible- it only takes 24 hours and you get a reply, AND a follow-up! I got an email inviting me to become a powerseller, I don't know how else you would know if you were eligible. I have a business so I keep track of my sales, if you do that also, you will know if you are over the $1000 Average Monthly Sales mark. Good luck! Amy

There are now five levels to aspire to within the new and improved PowerSeller Program. Each requires a seller to meet and maintain a preset level of average gross monthly sales for the past three months of selling activity: (shown in US Dollars)
Each month eBay sends out invitations to qualifying sellers who meet the above criteria, so check your email box for yours, or click on the 'Check It Out' button found on the PowerSellers home page.
To achieve and retain PowerSeller status, you need to:
Establish a track record of consistent sales achievement (see above for minimum gross sales requirements);
Maintain a minimum of average monthly total listings of four (4) listings for the past three months;
Be an active seller on the eBay site for a minimum duration of 90 days;
Achieve and maintain a minimum feedback rating of 100, 98% of which must be positive;
Be in good standing by complying with eBay Listing Policies;
Keep your eBay account current - no outstanding balance;
Deliver responses to successful bidders within three business days;
Uphold the eBay Community Values, including honesty, timeliness and mutual respect.
That is all you have to do. I think this covers everyones questions except for is it worth it. That can really only be answered by yourself after becoming one. Each person gets something different out of it.
