Roadsmith:

When looking at the property of your photos I notice slight differances.

Which leads me to belive you are typing in the address's.

Go to the photo itself, right click, click property's then copy and past the URL.

Less chance of a mistake that way!

Dad: When I right-click, "properties" doesn't come up anywhere for me on the screen, and no URL. I tried the "save link" or "copy link" bit but that didn't work.

MVC131S.JPG This is what comes up when I copy and paste the stuff above the photo.

I feel like I'm braindead or something. What can be so hard about this?!!! I've done it before.

I don't know if Windows accepts dashes in file names but that could be the culprit.

the "/A:" had to go too.

You posted the answer while I was busy trying to figure it out.
Had I seen your post I wouldn't have gone any further.

But there you go Roadsmith!

Piece-O-Cake.

Thanks so much, guys! I do appreciate it. I finally, in disgust, had gone into town to get some supplies and some fresh air. When I came back, here it is. Now I'm afraid no one will see it. . . .

Would you have any idea who made this ladle? It's big, heavy, and just beautiful in a simple sort of pattern.

I bet it's in this $100 book that has 15,000 marks in it.

Sorry, there isn't much on the web about looking up individual silver marks.

Hi:
I contacted a friend this is what he had to say:
The ladle is marked S&G that is the maker. Does it have any hall marks on it, And if so that would indicate that it is made of silver. And tell date of manufacture.Otherwise no hall marks indicate that it is just standard silver plate. And looks to be made in 60 or 70s

Thanks, Dad! This gives me something to work on. I"ll pursue as soon as I launch some auctions this week. (I've got computer-butt for sure today.)
