Does anyone know when or if Ebay is going to get the Password Problem fixed. I read their Technical Forum and many of us are having Major Problems Signing-In, Bidding, and Selling and not receiving Notices when Buy Now items sell. When I try to sign in my password jumps into the ID box where it is not encripted and is in plain view. Then when I keep trying, it says my id is not valid. After doing this several times and typing in several weird 4 digit numbers they give me, it finally accepts my id. Now today, PayPal tells me it cannot insert the Logo into my auctions because Ebay won't accept my Password. I had already changed my Ebay Password on PayPal. I finally ended all my auctions with Ebay until they get things fixed on their site. Those of us having these problems are getting quite frustrated! I am an active Member in Good Standing. Why is Ebay making it so difficult to do business on their Site?

I had a problem this morning but I just kept at it and finally it was excepted. I can tell you that Microsoft has been updating Internet Explorer this past week and there is something called "Net Passport" that is not working correctly. I noticed when I was trying to get into MSN I had the passport issue come up again for two days and couldn't get into the site. After I followed a few links I found that Ebay uses this Passport system also. Maybe someone else on the board can fill us in on the "PASSPORT" interface.

I notice when I sign into my eBay that when the page appears the curser is in the password area so I type it in but when I start to type it jumps into my user name. Then when I go back to the password box my password appears with xxxxxxx without typing anything. How can that happen? I don't have any problems with getting in though. I hope nobody can get into my area by doing that.

eBay is getting to big and they need some major reconstruction (I think) although we haven't had anything major happen lately.
(keeping my fingers crossed)

Also I wanted to mention that if you receive the notice from Microsoft regarding the Passport issue they ask you to file a report of the problem by following the link. Once I reported the problem a few times everything seemed to work fine. I have a feeling that they update the Internet Explorer on our computers without our knowing it most of the time. I have a Windows NT Workstation and they required I download the NT updates.
