Most people who sell on ebay agree that having your auctions end on Sunday night is the best time for highest bids. At least this is what I gather from the may posts here on AW.
If you couldn't have your auctions end on Sunday night, what day/time would be your second choice??

This is one of the best questions that I have seen on here in ages. Great Question! I have researched this subject in every angle imaginable and I have came to the conclusion that for us and the products that we sell everyday is a different story. The best day, hmmm. Consider the crowd, the people that most commonly purchase your items. We sell fitness and most generally our crowd are people who tend to stick to schedules, bedtimes, uptimes, budgets and so forth. We base these factors as well as many more in our list times, and days. Also remember the times differences in the U.S.. We have days where we are having huge sucess rates, than the following week things are dead. I also found that the middle of the month we have a lot less sales. The end and the beginning is by far our best. Thursday and Monday are great days for us though, Sundays are not are best. Deep Analysis is a great program to get things figured out, bt it's a bit expensive. But thats what I use in our business and it has by far paid for itself.

I would say Thursday nights is next best, that works great for me. If you end them about 7:30 to 8 PM Pacific Time ..you can catch most bidders

I like to run 10 day auctions, starting on Thursday night, ending Sunday night. You get
2 weekends worth of bidders..it's a great value!
