If I have something with a reserve and it doesn't make reserve price but decide to sell it to highest bidder, will I have to pay FVF's on what I sold it for?

I usually don't use reserves but this is an exception.

Your advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

If it doesn't make reserve price, then by ebay's standards it is a non-sale. It has NOT sold. There is no FVF on it. You can sell it to the highest bidder if you wish and keep the money, except for the listing fees, of course. I've done this just a few times; usually if something's valuable enough to have a reserve on it, I try again--and usually it does sell, even if I have to lower the starting bid a little. Hope this helps.

I am pretty certain that if you asked an ebay representative they would indicate that if you got the customer for the item listed through ebay, then you should pay the FVF. Anything else would be 'playing' with the Ebay rules.

I do not think that ebay has a mechanism for you to pay a FVF or sale price fee if the auction is a no-sale.

Just sell the damn thing and forget about it.
