I just got this notice- and yes the item was shipped yesterday, now what do I do? This is a first only 20.00 but still....

We regret to inform you that you received funds from an account with reports of
fraudulent bank account use.

In accordance with PayPal's Seller Protection Policy, the following transaction
involving unauthorized funds has been reversed:

First of all, post this in the proper forum (Partners - Paypal section). Second, contact [email protected]. Third, provide some details. Did this customer have a confirmed address and did you ship to that confirmed address using delivery confirmation? If so, you should be covered under paypal's rules (at least according to the rules in effect the last time I looked, but those always seem to change when you're not looking.)

Thanks, I called the USPS as this went out yesterday prioity mail with DC, I am now running to the PO to file a recall of mail, to stop delivery, not sure how it works but at least they may not end up with the item. I called first and the USPS told me this is possible has anyone tried this before? I figure its worth my time for scam artists!

If you did not use confirmed address you will eat this chargeback. If you can recover the shipment from the post office that would be great.
Paypal like billpoint do not confirm the CC holder, therefore you take the risk.
Do not think that even damon could do much for you. However you can always ask.
This board is just as good to ask about paypal as the paypal forum which is pretty well dead.
Damon does not go there anymore as it was just a total bashing board.
Best of luck.

Ok, Paypal--the buyer used echeck I waited until paypal said the money had cleared 5 days, then sent item then I got the above report of fraudulent funds.
Luckily the buyer has a PO box to send too, I filled out a form at the USPS to stop the package, because it was priority mail with DC it will be returned at no charge. They will fax the form to the buyers PO and put a note in the box for the postal worker to send the package back. IF the postal worker can read I should be fine just out the postage.

Now off the report the buyer to ebay, What a hassle but worth it to get the creep off ebay.

thanks for your help.. your right Trai, paypal is of no help!
