I already apologized for calling the Super Bowl question silly in the other thread. Now I need help with an item I know nothing about.
I have a camera lens that says "Kentar Telephoto Lens for AF35ML 2m-00 REd Design"
what does all that mean? what type camera? etc. I know nothing about photography, I point my digital and hit the button. That is my total photography education.

When I search the name of the lens Minolta comes up. but when I go to the Minolta site there is nothing about that. Do you have a camera store near you? If you do call them. Thats all I can find. Good Luck

There are a number of makers that manufacter oens that are compatible with the different camera makers. (i.e. - I use Vivitar lenses with my Cannon)
Kentar - Maker
Telephoto Lens for AF35ML - Collar style it's made to fit
2m-00 REd Design - This makes no sense to me - generally the numbers start low and go up - as in 35-210mm which means that the lens "extends to cover the ranges from a 35mm wide angle to a 210mm zoom. "Red Design" may be their quality rankings.
