Would appreciate any glass experts help with identifying this piece. It's large - 9" high and 7" wide at midpoint. Thanks in advance!

Hi rarriffle, there are no markings of any kind on this one but it does look old. Have looked the the auctions and the one book I have with no matches, nothing even that close.

I just went through Gene Florence's Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years and didn't see it. The pattern doen't ring a bell although it certainly looks 20's or 30's. Your best bet is to go over to the eBay Pottery and Glass Board and post the picture there. They have some amazing experts.
Good Luck!

Looks just like one my Grandmother had and she's been dead 40 years! Her home was filled with stuff from the 30s.

I have seen ones just like that before. They were originally made a long time ago and then they started making reproductions of them a few years ago. OH, where did I see them.

I found it! Federal Glass, late 1930's called Big Ben. Hadn't seen any on eBay when searching last time but found a closed one this morning - go figure.
Many thanks to all who responded.
